  • Administration and Clerical Roles

    We have a broad range of clerical roles that include administration across accounts, sales, production and associated areas.

    Entry Level / Competences and Knowledge

    • Accuracy, numeracy, literacy
    • Ability to work in a team
    • Good understanding of administration processes
    • Familiarity with IT systems
    • Good attendance record
    • NVQ 2 or 4 GCSE’s preferred
  • Contract Support Manager

    Reporting to the Sales Director, you will have a strong commercial understanding of the construction market in order for you to proactively and effectively manage and track Specifications generated by the technical team through to order stage. Some technical knowledge of Structural Waterproofing is advantageous for these roles.

    It is essential that you can manage multiple accounts simultaneously and confidently liaise with Specifers, Contractors and Builders Merchants, maintaining regular contact with all stakeholders in order to defend the specification.

    To apply you must have:

    • A minimum of two years relevant experience within the Construction Sector
    • Located in South East, North East or North West
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Competent IT skills – CRM, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
    • Strong team ethic

  • Process Operator

    Typical Job Description (jobs and processes vary across our sites)

    • Operating machinery to manufacture polythene packaging products for industrial, agricultural, retail, NHS and local authority use
    • Maximising output at the highest possible quality
    • Monitoring, measuring and recording process efficiency
    • Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
    • Troubleshooting problems and adjusting machine settings
    • Working in a team
    • Packing and labelling of products

    Key Processes

    • Extrusion: Producing blown polythene film from granular polymer
    • Print: Printing onto the film from simple 1 colour to complex 8 colour
    • Conversion: Converting film into bags and other applications
    • Recycling: Recycling post use polythene to manufacture new products

    Entry Level / Competences and Knowledge

    • Willingness to work shifts
    • Accuracy, numeracy, literacy
    • Ability to work in a team
    • Good understanding of health and safety in a factory
    • Good attendance record and be physically fit
    • No formal qualifications required but NVQ 2 or GCSE’s preferred

  • Technical Support Manager

    The Visqueen national team of technical support managers provides support services to specifiers, end users and merchants. This includes assistance with product selection, CAD detailing and on-site installation training. This technical service is free and is provided by a technical support team with extensive experience of the construction industry.
